    'BREWER' - Animal details

Sire CARLTON and a dam from DOC’s bloodline created BREWER. This young sire has an extraordinarily strong head worthy of his breeding, plus he is very wide over the top of his long rump, has a deep flank, a good spring of rib, a deep body, and firm hocks for the abundant amount of meat he carries. And he moves beautifully.

  • WHITE DORPER SIRE 200984 STAN

    'STAN' - PROFILE

    'STAN' - VIDEO

    'STAN' - Animal details

STAN is a tremendously well-balanced ram with everything in proportion and exactly as it should be. He makes quite an impression with his masculine solid shape, long body and excellent topline. His safe forequarter, long rump, and deep muscles, which come way down his hocks, complete that quality picture.

STAN’s sire CRUMBLE strongly influenced STAN’s overall quality. Still, his dam contributed outstanding genetic attributes of her own, including the strength of maternal grandsire EMINEM and great grandsire DOC, along with the fecundity of grand-dam 120020, who was one of BURRAWANG’s most influential breeders.

  • WHITE DORPER SIRE 210209 BALTER

    'BALTER' - PROFILE

    'BALTER' - VIDEO

    'BALTER' - Animal details

Quality head; quality body. BALTER has that tremendous quality head so typical of his sire CARLTON’s breeding. That quality continues throughout this young sire’s body and explains his selection as a BURRAWANG stud sire.

He has very well-developed loins and is extremely wide over the top of his broad, long and deep rump with wide but safe hips and chest. He is thick right through from front to back with a deep flank, and good sprung of rib. He carries a lot of meat and does so beautifully; he walks like a dream.

  • WHITE DORPER SIRE 210204 TANKER

    'TANKER' - PROFILE

    'TANKER' - VIDEO

    'TANKER' - Animal details

Typical of his bloodline, this young ram weaned at 43kg and continued to gain weight at an impressive rate through post-weaning. TANKER’s sire, KEG, is Australia’s Top Sire for all shedding breeds, as rated by Meat and Livestock Association and Sheep Genetics according to LambPlan ASBVs released in summer 2022, in which KEG’s MCP index was over 5 points ahead of the next highest index listing.

TANKER also benefits from outstanding genetics on his super breeder dam’s side of the equation, including quick-growing, well-muscled animals such as CASPER and TARZAN.

TANKER has the same remarkable loin development and deep body as his sire KEG, an excellent head quality, long body, great sound structure, lots of muscle, smooth flowing mobility, a wonderful shedding pattern and beautiful skin.

  • WHITE DORPER SIRE 210923 THEODORE

    'THEODORE' - PROFILE

    'THEODORE' - VIDEO

    'THEODORE' - Animal details

One of stud master Wicus Cronje’s favourite young rams, THEODORE has everything he needs to be an absolute money-making winner in the meat industry. His sire, TRUMP, became Australian Junior and Grand Champion White Dorper Ram when he was just 9 months old and was sold at 2 years old, during BURRAWANG’s 19th On-Farm Sale in March 2022, for a world record price of $62,000. THEODORE'S maternal grandsire, PIET, was the 2019 Australian Supreme Champion and went on to sire several notable BURRAWANG sires, including PHILL and HOOK.

A winning pedigree is not the only thing THEODORE has going for him. Stud master Cronje identified THEODORE as a potential sire when this ram was just 3 months old, and the animal keeps getting better and better. He has it all; a strong head, excellent carcass quality in the form of a long body with plenty of meat, nice thick legs with outstanding feet, sound structure, and that essential combination of muscling with plentiful and evenly distributed beneficial body fat.

  • WHITE DORPER SIRE 211252 PIET 40

    'PIET 40' - PROFILE

    'PIET 40' - VIDEO

    'PIET 40' - Animal details

PIET 40 gets his name from his sire, PIET, the 2019 Australian Supreme Champion, and from his maternal grandsire 101020 (10+10+20=40), who is one of BURRAWANG’s most influential white dorper ewe flock sires.

Not only is PIET 40’s breeding an outstanding combination of some of BURRAWANG’s best genetics, but he is also a special ram in his own right with terrific overall balance, an exceptionally long body and a solidly sound topline, a remarkably masculine shape, tremendous muscling in all the right places, and plenty of evenly distributed beneficial body fat.

  • WHITE DORPER SIRE 200933 SUPERMAN

    'SUPERMAN' - PROFILE

    'SUPERMAN' - VIDEO

    'SUPERMAN' - Animal details

This ram was weaned at just 66 days because he was already 32kg and practising his best-serving moves! Early weaning did not hamper his development or drive to succeed as a sire.

Hailing from an extensive line of fast-growing, quick-maturing animals, including sire IRON JACK and a 101020 dam, SUPERMAN has a high-quality head which translates into a high-quality carcass with great overall length a long rump and impressive masculine shape. To top it all off, he has good skin and is well equipped to breed often and well.

  • WHITE DORPER SIRE 210863 VICTOR

    'VICTOR' - PROFILE

    'VICTOR' - VIDEO

    'VICTOR' - Animal details

This young ram has all the winning pieces in place to become a remarkable breeding sire. His sire, TRUMP, became Australian Junior and Grand Champion White Dorper Ram when he was just 9 months old and was sold at 2 years old, during BURRAWANG’s 19th On-Farm Sale in March 2022, for a world record price of $62,000.

Fortunately, TRUMP left BURRAWANG with several outstanding young sons deserving of use as stud sires, including VICTOR and THEODORE, whose maternal grandsire, PIET, was the 2019 Australian Supreme Champion, plus THORN and TREVOR from different grandsires.

Quality breeding gives VICTOR his high-quality head that heralds his impressive body length, fantastic topline and outstanding carcass quality. He carries abundant meat, as verified by his 39mm eye muscle depth at just 10 months of age. His easy, smooth-moving style is a pleasure to watch.

  • WHITE DORPER SIRE 210905 THORN

    'THORN' - PROFILE

    'THORN' - VIDEO

    'THORN' - Animal details

Chosen as a breeding sire at an incredibly early age, THORN was just 11 months old in this photo and video, had just completed work in his first 6-week joining and still looked brilliant! He is a twin son of a JUG super breeder dam and of TRUMP, a BURRAWANG sire who became Australian Junior and Grand Champion White Dorper Ram when he was just 9 months old and was sold at 2 years old, during BURRAWANG’s 19th On Farm Sale in March 2022, for a world record price of $62,000.

THORN was an easy pick for BURRAWANG’s stud breeding program based on his great head quality, long body with excellent topline, long rump, great inner and outer twists, and smooth walking style. He will become a nice, big ram with lots of muscling when he fully develops.

  • WHITE DORPER SIRE 200992 DRAFT

    'DRAFT' - PROFILE

    'DRAFT' - VIDEO

    'DRAFT' - Animal details

His rapid growth, especially for a twin, and his outstanding overall quality, made an early impression on stud master Cronje. DRAFT is a splendid example of how well his sire and maternal grandsire breed. DRAFT has a remarkably high-quality head just like his sire, CARLTON, and his grandsire, 2019 Australian Supreme Champion PIET.

That quality continues throughout DRAFT’s very masculine body starting with his long neck and extending along his long body with its extremely strong topline, over his good sprung of rib and long rump. He has plenty of well distributed beneficial body fat and carries an enormous amount of meat while moving very easily.

Plus, he has a nice shedding pattern. What more can you really want in a top breeding sire? This is a fantastic ram.

  • WHITE DORPER SIRE 200968 CRACKERJACK

    'CRACKERJACK' - PROFILE

    'CRACKERJACK' - VIDEO

    'CRACKERJACK' - Animal details

CRACKERJACK is one of those rams who really makes an impression with his obvious carcass quality. At just 9 months old, his eye muscle scanned at 37mm and at a year old, it had grown to 42mm. In person or in photos and videos, you can clearly see that he carries a lot of meat on his strong, deep and wide body, on his extremely long rump and around his amazing sprung of rib.

He also has that essential combination of muscling with plenty of beneficial, evenly distributed body fat that enables him to maintain his strength and muscling throughout work and in challenging environmental circumstances. This photo and video were taken just a couple of weeks after he came out of a 6-week joining and he still looks amazing, which demonstrates how efficiently he converts his feed to muscle and will be ready for action time and time again.

CRACKERJACK is a twin son of IRON JACK and a super breeder dam from BURRAWANG 120038. He has all the qualities of an outstanding breeding sire. Plus, he has a great shedding pattern to breed into his low maintenance offspring.

    'PINT' - VIDEO

    'PINT' - Animal details

At the time of this photo and video, PINT was just weeks out of a 6-week joining and looked amazing, which demonstrates how efficiently he converts his feed into muscle, even while cutting his 2 teeth. PINT is out of sire SCHOONER and a super breeder dam from JUG.

PINT has the strength, body length, impressive overall balance, sprung of rib, deep flank, and easy walking style to make him a real success as a leading meat industry sire. Plus, he has that highly sought excellent pigment and skin. Another smart choice for BURRAWANG’s line up of sires.

  • WHITE DORPER SIRE 200107 BUDWEISER - 2021 Australian Grand Champion White Dorper Ram

    'BUDWEISER' - PROFILE

    'BUDWEISER' - VIDEO

    'BUDWEISER' - Animal details

2021 Australian Grand Champion White Dorper Ram BUDWEISER is an outstanding example of his breed.  Not only is he strikingly masculine in shape and strength, but his growth rates are also hugely impressive.

His noticeably strong, masculine head and neck indicate the quality of his carcass.  He is nice and thick in the bone and long in the body and has an extraordinarily long rump with great eye muscle development, a wide brisket and deep flank.  He carries himself beautifully and has everything in abundance to breed lambs that grow quickly and are well-muscled, key traits for profitable meat production.

Like his sire, IRON JACK, BUDWEISER inherited KEG’s truly remarkable body depth and muscling.  The quality of one of our most influential stud ewes, BURRAWANG 120190, cannot be underestimated, especially as BUDWEISER benefits from her balancing presence on both sides of his pedigree.

  • WHITE DORPER SIRE 200083 KING KONG

    'KING KONG' - PROFILE

    'KING KONG' - VIDEO

    'KING KONG' - Animal details

Early weaning at 67 days old and 33kgs, did nothing to set this amazing ram back; he has grown into a strong sire with impressive eye muscle depth of 44mm even after working for 6 weeks.

KING KONG is an unusual and special ram who has it all and knows it! With his strikingly masculine shape, thick masculine neck, strong and high-quality head, long and deep body, great width at his backend especially, over his loins, very deep flank, abundant muscling and great beneficial body fat and his structural excellence, this is a truly remarkable ram. As if that is not enough, he has a good shedding pattern and walks like a dream.

KING KONG’s sire, APE, provided outstanding genetics from TARZAN and BARREL, but his dam brought her own magic to the mix.  She is an outstanding natural breeder and made the final cut as a donor for the few Embryo Transfer programs BURRAWANG has conducted in recent years; not bad for a 5-year-old ewe competing for that position against thousands of proven breeders.

  • WHITE DORPER SIRE 191472 TRUMP - 2020 Australian National Junior and Grand Champion White Dorper Ram

    'TRUMP' - PROFILE

    'TRUMP' - VIDEO

    'TRUMP' - Animal details

At just 9 months old, TRUMP became the 2020 Australian Grand Champion White Dorper Ram.  His striking carcass quality is the result of purposeful breeding designed to capture the outstanding meat producing capacity of animals on both sides of his bloodline.  Blessed with a mix of Tien Jordan and THE DOC in his sire TARZAN’s pedigree, and of KEG on his dam’s side, TRUMP is a very masculine ram with exceptionally strong muscling in his shoulders, throughout his deep barrel and flank, and across well-developed loins and a long rump.  At the same time, he has plenty of good body fat.  Structurally, TRUMP is very correct on his feet and moves beautifully.

TRUMP’s first lambs were born in Autumn 2021 and already demonstrate the same outstanding growth rate and carcass quality as TRUMP as a lamb.

    'MIMIC' - VIDEO

    'MIMIC' - Animal details

2021 Australian Reserve Champion White Dorper Ram, MIMIC, is a special ram.  Unbelievably correct, structurally, he is also an extraordinarily strong masculine ram with a long body and particularly good legs who is incredibly well balanced and has outstanding carcass quality.

Focussed breeding selections over four generations account for MIMIC’s exceptional combination of strength, structural integrity and carcass quality.  Like The DOC from his dam’s side, MIMIC stands perfectly over his front legs, has very strong hocks and carries his generous amount of meat very easily, moving with a smooth, fluid style.  Kasteel bloodline on both sides of his pedigree is evident in MIMIC’s outstanding growth rates, well developed loins, long deep body and very masculine shape.

MIMIC’s first drop of lambs is due to be weaned in July 2021 and we are excited by what we see in the paddock; a good line of offspring to cement the structural integrity/carcass quality combination.

Evident in DUSTY’s conformation are the muscle depth of Burrawang 140373 BARREL and the trademark forequarter of DOC. We anticipate this line to continue to develop well within Burrawang’s White Dorper range.

COMET is one of many MARKSMAN sons. MARKSMAN, like his sire before him 6Gun, is known to produce offspring of consistently high quality. We, and our customers, understand what to expect from this bloodline. How good is that? What you see is what you get.

From the range of MARKSMAN’s sons, COMET and MUSCLES were selected as sires. Both selected sire’s dams come from the MICHAEL JACKSON bloodline, a line of breeding ewes with a solid reputation for fertility, fecundity, and production of well above average quality ram offspring.

The year-old COMET had recently completed a 6-week joining in this photo and video and still looked great. He is a big, easy moving ram with tremendous carcass and growth rates and his bloodline’s nice strong head, long and very deep body, long rump, deep flank with long muscles, and excellent topline.

    'SOLDIER'- Animal details

The photo and video of this sire were taken when this young sire was just 11 months old, yet his outstanding features are clear. He is a well-bred ram out of DIGGER and a GETAFIX dam which means he is armed with a winning combination of genetics.

He was chosen as a BURRAWANG stud sire because he has great body length with amazing body fat and his eye muscle depth, at just 10 months old, was 37mm. He is an extraordinarily strong young ram with a lovely temperament who promises to produce well-structured, strongly muscled offspring.

    'WINCHESTER'- Animal details

With an eye muscle depth of 40mm and the way in which WINCHESTER stands and moves so perfectly on his feet, he is a sure choice as a BURRAWANG stud sire. That proven combination of sire 6 GUN and a BRUMBY daughter, gives this ram all he needs to become an outstanding breeder.

WINCHESTER has a particularly good strong head, a deep body, and great sound structure. He is extremely well balanced with the some of the best feet stud master Cronje, has ever seen. We expect a lot of this ram.

    'MUSCLES'- Animal details

Stud master Cronje has done it again! By selectively choosing specific animals with Cronje bloodlines to combine with select old Mickey Phillips genetics, he has produced some outstanding animals. Among them is this impressive young ram, MUSCLES, who has everything it takes to deserve his selection as a BURRAWANG stud sire.

MUSCLES was on the job at an early age when he still had a lot of development ahead of him. In fact, this photo and video were taken just weeks after he completed his first 6-week joining and he looks impressive, especially for his young 11-month age. He was selected as a sire based on his growth rate, long body, incredibly good topline, muscling, good inner and outer twists, sound structure and his easy walking style.

The combination of sire RUSSIAN and a BRUMBY daughter is a combination that has proven to consistently produce quality offspring. GLOBETROTTER is a terrific example. At just 10 months old, this young twin ram’s eye muscle scanned at 38mm deep. This, in conjunction with plenty of beneficial fat evenly distributed over his long body, his strong thick bone structure and the overall meat he carries, at such an early age, indicates he will produce heavy lambs. Structurally he is very sound, has a strong head and walks like a dream.

QUICKDRAW’s growth rates are impressive; weaned at just 75 days old, he weighed 31.5kg and thereafter, gained an average of over 200grams per day through post weaning. He has that extraordinarily strong head which is indicative of overall carcass quality and structure. Plus, he has great colour, wonderful skin, and sheds nicely. Structurally, he is very sound and moves wonderfully on his distinctively good feet.

He is an incredibly special ram whose pedigree brings together the best of Cronje and old Mickey Phillips bloodlines to give him a strong head, long, deep, well-muscled body, a good sprung of rib and terrific overall balance. He is a particularly good doer and will breed very heavy lambs.

    'TRIPLE SHOT'- Animal details

What a ‘muscle man’ this young sire is! At just 11 months old, TRIPLE SHOT already had extremely well-developed loins with eye muscle depth of 44.5mm and impressive growth rates averaging over 200g of weight gain off the paddocks. As his name suggests, he was born and raised a triplet by a MICHAEL JACKSON daughter and has developed into a very impressive ram.

Sired by PISTOL, it should come as no surprise that TRIPLE SHOT is exceptionally long, very masculine and has strong muscling which is apparent all along his sound topline as well as throughout his amazing inner and outer twists. He has exceptionally strong hocks, especially considering the amount of meat he carries. He walks beautifully and has the potential to perform very well to produce many high-quality offspring.

Sire BULLSEYE and a MICHAEL JACKSON daughter produced this twin who has developed into a big, robust ram with a long body, unreal length of rump and great masculine shape. WATERBUCK is an aggressive joiner as we soon discovered when we had plenty of great young lambs arrive, verifying the wisdom of choosing him as a BURRAWANG sire.
