Sire CARLTON and a dam from DOC’s bloodline created BREWER. STAN is a tremendously well-balanced ram with everything in proportion and exactly as it should be. He makes quite an impression with his masculine solid shape, long body and excellent topline. STAN’s sire CRUMBLE strongly influenced STAN’s overall quality. Quality head; quality body. BALTER has that tremendous quality head so typical of his sire CARLTON’s breeding. That quality continues throughout this young sire’s body and explains his selection as a BURRAWANG stud sire.
He has very well-developed loins and is extremely wide over the top of his broad, long and deep rump with wide but safe hips and chest. He is thick right through from front to back with a deep flank, and good sprung of rib. He carries a lot of meat and does so beautifully; he walks like a dream.

Typical of his bloodline, this young ram weaned at 43kg and continued to gain weight at an impressive rate through post-weaning. TANKER’s sire, KEG, is Australia’s Top Sire for all shedding breeds, as rated by Meat and Livestock Association and Sheep Genetics according to LambPlan ASBVs released in summer 2022, in which KEG’s MCP index was over 5 points ahead of the next highest index listing.
TANKER also benefits from outstanding genetics on his super breeder dam’s side of the equation, including quick-growing, well-muscled animals such as CASPER and TARZAN.
TANKER has the same remarkable loin development and deep body as his sire KEG, an excellent head quality, long body, great sound structure, lots of muscle, smooth flowing mobility, a wonderful shedding pattern and beautiful skin.

One of stud master Wicus Cronje’s favourite young rams, THEODORE has everything he needs to be an absolute money-making winner in the meat industry. His sire, TRUMP, became Australian Junior and Grand Champion White Dorper Ram when he was just 9 months old and was sold at 2 years old, during BURRAWANG’s 19th On-Farm Sale in March 2022, for a world record price of $62,000. THEODORE'S maternal grandsire, PIET, was the 2019 Australian Supreme Champion and went on to sire several notable BURRAWANG sires, including PHILL and HOOK.
A winning pedigree is not the only thing THEODORE has going for him. Stud master Cronje identified THEODORE as a potential sire when this ram was just 3 months old, and the animal keeps getting better and better. He has it all; a strong head, excellent carcass quality in the form of a long body with plenty of meat, nice thick legs with outstanding feet, sound structure, and that essential combination of muscling with plentiful and evenly distributed beneficial body fat.

PIET 40 gets his name from his sire, PIET, the 2019 Australian Supreme Champion, and from his maternal grandsire 101020 (10+10+20=40), who is one of BURRAWANG’s most influential white dorper ewe flock sires.
Not only is PIET 40’s breeding an outstanding combination of some of BURRAWANG’s best genetics, but he is also a special ram in his own right with terrific overall balance, an exceptionally long body and a solidly sound topline, a remarkably masculine shape, tremendous muscling in all the right places, and plenty of evenly distributed beneficial body fat.

THORN was an easy pick for BURRAWANG’s stud breeding program based on his great head quality, long body with excellent topline, long rump, great inner and outer twists, and smooth walking style. He will become a nice, big ram with lots of muscling when he fully develops.

His rapid growth, especially for a twin, and his outstanding overall quality, made an early impression on stud master Cronje. DRAFT is a splendid example of how well his sire and maternal grandsire breed. DRAFT has a remarkably high-quality head just like his sire, CARLTON, and his grandsire, 2019 Australian Supreme Champion PIET.
That quality continues throughout DRAFT’s very masculine body starting with his long neck and extending along his long body with its extremely strong topline, over his good sprung of rib and long rump. He has plenty of well distributed beneficial body fat and carries an enormous amount of meat while moving very easily.

CRACKERJACK is one of those rams who really makes an impression with his obvious carcass quality. At just 9 months old, his eye muscle scanned at 37mm and at a year old, it had grown to 42mm. In person or in photos and videos, you can clearly see that he carries a lot of meat on his strong, deep and wide body, on his extremely long rump and around his amazing sprung of rib.
He also has that essential combination of muscling with plenty of beneficial, evenly distributed body fat that enables him to maintain his strength and muscling throughout work and in challenging environmental circumstances. This photo and video were taken just a couple of weeks after he came out of a 6-week joining and he still looks amazing, which demonstrates how efficiently he converts his feed to muscle and will be ready for action time and time again.

2021 Australian Grand Champion White Dorper Ram BUDWEISER is an outstanding example of his breed. Not only is he strikingly masculine in shape and strength, but his growth rates are also hugely impressive.
His noticeably strong, masculine head and neck indicate the quality of his carcass. He is nice and thick in the bone and long in the body and has an extraordinarily long rump with great eye muscle development, a wide brisket and deep flank. Early weaning at 67 days old and 33kgs, did nothing to set this amazing ram back; he has grown into a strong sire with impressive eye muscle depth of 44mm even after working for 6 weeks.

WHITE DORPER SIRE 191472 TRUMP - 2020 Australian National Junior and Grand Champion White Dorper Ram
At just 9 months old, TRUMP became the 2020 Australian Grand Champion White Dorper Ram. His striking carcass quality is the result of purposeful breeding designed to capture the outstanding meat producing capacity of animals on both sides of his bloodline. Blessed with a mix of Tien Jordan and THE DOC in his sire TARZAN’s pedigree, and of KEG on his dam’s side, TRUMP is a very masculine ram with exceptionally strong muscling in his shoulders, throughout his deep barrel and flank, and across well-developed loins and a long rump. At the same time, he has plenty of good body fat. Structurally, TRUMP is very correct on his feet and moves beautifully.
TRUMP’s first lambs were born in Autumn 2021 and already demonstrate the same outstanding growth rate and carcass quality as TRUMP as a lamb.

2021 Australian Reserve Champion White Dorper Ram, MIMIC, is a special ram. Unbelievably correct, structurally, he is also an extraordinarily strong masculine ram with a long body and particularly good legs who is incredibly well balanced and has outstanding carcass quality.
Focussed breeding selections over four generations account for MIMIC’s exceptional combination of strength, structural integrity and carcass quality. Like The DOC from his dam’s side, MIMIC stands perfectly over his front legs, has very strong hocks and carries his generous amount of meat very easily, moving with a smooth, fluid style. Kasteel bloodline on both sides of his pedigree is evident in MIMIC’s outstanding growth rates, well developed loins, long deep body and very masculine shape.
MIMIC’s first drop of lambs is due to be weaned in July 2021 and we are excited by what we see in the paddock; a good line of offspring to cement the structural integrity/carcass quality combination.

DUSTY has exceptional growth for his age along with particularly good carcass qualities. His loins are very well developed, and he is long, wide, and deep, especially in the hindquarter. He has a remarkably deep flank. DUSTY is still a lamb and, based on his growth and pedigree, he is going to be a very big boy.
This sire’s pedigree varies considerably from many of Burrawang’s sires, while including some of our top per- forming sires and dams. Evident in DUSTY’s conformation are the muscle depth of Burrawang 140373 BARREL and the trademark forequarter of DOC. We anticipate this line to continue to develop well within Burrawang’s White Dorper range.

CARLTON has an exceptionally high-quality head. Still a lamb when photographed, this young sire is unusually strong and masculine and shows great balance and quality, especially for his age. CARLTON has a wide, long, and deep body and moves very easily.
CARLTON’s pedigree packs a real punch and we are expecting a lot from him and his half-brothers from the same drop, PALE ALE, HOMEBREW and FOSTER. Their sire, LOCO has proven to be one of Burrawang’s most successful breeding sires with 7 of 8 rams born in a single drop, achieving Type 5 in independent classing.

FOSTERS’ sire, LOCO, produced several of BURRAWANG’s white dorper sires, during his very short breeding time, before meeting an early demise in the paddock. On FOSTERS’ dam side, grandsire CASPER was another prolific producer whose offspring topped their peer group in growth rates.
FOSTERS is extremely well balanced and, from end to end, is a standout. He has a particularly good, high quality head. His body is long, deep, and wide. He has well developed loins with an exceptionally long rump. The depth, quality, and muscle length of his hindquarter along with his ability to walk so easily, are hugely impressive.

RAPPER comes from one of Burrawang’s most successful ewes, Burrawang 120020, who also features in the back- ground of sires PALE ALE and HOMEBREW from different sire lines. RAPPER demonstrates all the quality we came to expect from 120020 which made her a “go to” dam; he is well balanced and has a great masculine head.
Like his sire, EMINEM, distinguishing features of RAPPER’s structure are his strong, thick legs and his free-flowing movement. He breeds consistent quality offspring with nice soft, wet coats.

HOOK is one of the sons of PIET selected for use in Burrawang’s stud breeding programs. This working sire currently weighs 135kg. He has an exceptional carcass, deep body and muscle structure, with great ‘spring of rib’, attributes that he breeds into his offspring. HOOK is a wet ram who is unusually blessed with lots of meat and body fat.
Burrawang’s On Farm Sale showcases 100-120 rams representing the top 10-12% of all rams produced. Many of HOOK’s sons were selected for, and sold well in, our October 2019 On Farm Sale.

Burrawang is fortunate to have identified and selected some very strong genetics from South Africa as part of the foundation of our White Dorper Stud. XEROX has a unique pedigree that is based on animals bred by Leon Snyman, who many regard as the best breeder of White Dorper’s in South Africa. A ram called OFFAL did very well for Snyman’s stud, producing MONTY, a ram who became famous for putting South Africa’s Kasteel stud on the map.
With an exceptional top line, XEROX is a very well-balanced ram with a good head, and he breeds true to his bloodline.

True to expectations, many of JUG’S ram offspring are doing very well for our commercial customers, including those in Australia’s tough 10-inch rainfall areas.

This young sire has a powerhouse pedigree, including sire RODEO, the 2020 Australian Senior and Grand Champion Dorper Ram, and an OLD MATE daughter who has a touch of DIESEL on her sire’s side. As a result of this breeding, we have an outstanding new sire we call DUDE.
Who would not like a ram with the head, length, strength, body fat, easy movement, structure, growth, and the great combination of meat and body fat that DUDE has? To top it off, he has a lovely temperament. He is perfect for BURRAWANG’s lineup of young 2021 born sires.

Born a twin by a super breeder, DIGGER daughter, MINER has a strikingly wet, well-muscled carcass, much like his sire RUSSIAN’s. MINER deserves his position as a stud sire based on his strong masculine head, his excellent topline, body depth and width without being overly wide in front, great inner and outer twists, the amount of meat he carries and how easily he moves. Stud master Cronje is very excited about his lambs.

KUDO has a range of remarkable qualities to qualify him as a stud sire, two of which are uniquely outstanding; his perfect stance over all four feet and his tremendous, square, well-muscled hindquarter.
He is very safe in the front, has a good head, a beautiful, strong topline, tremendous loin development with width right over his rump, and a deep flank with long muscles. At the time of this photo and video, he was weeks out of his first six weeks joining and, especially for such a young ram, looked terrific, which is a testament to his ability to stay strong and healthy while working.

From the range of MARKSMAN’s sons, COMET and MUSCLES were selected as sires. Both selected sire’s dams come from the MICHAEL JACKSON bloodline, a line of breeding ewes with a solid reputation for fertility, fecundity, and production of well above average quality ram offspring.
The year-old COMET had recently completed a 6-week joining in this photo and video and still looked great. He is a big, easy moving ram with tremendous carcass and growth rates and his bloodline’s nice strong head, long and very deep body, long rump, deep flank with long muscles, and excellent topline.
